Aorlhac launched their third work since 2008 this year, a worth listening for all the black metal fans.

Last years were too (much) productive in the melodic death genre, and choosing something good or original between the thousands of releases could be a hard task. The style is a bit saturated since time ago and many times if you listen often Metal and you see "melodeath", this might be even a bad signal; there are too many and too "the same" doing that.
Crystalic are not a very original band, but I think this album is standing over the thousands of melodeath releases.

The head of The Meads of Asphodel and the extincted band Ewigkeit comes with a new weird project that mixes the melodic pagan-folk-medieval metal with funny lyrics, keyboards and way of playing. Many song melodies are inspired by other melodies like "Hark the herald" (a medieval tune) or "Jaldaboath" (a TV production from the 70's-80's).
It might recall you to a Heavy Metal version of Monty Python, and could be called something like Happy-Pagan Metal. In these days it is really difficult to find a band that creates their own style, a worth listening for all the unabashedly pagan-folk metal fans.

Bizarradas Musicales: Norrin Radd / Nesmetal

Chegado de Canadá, Norrin Radd é un friki do sonido NES de 4bit e do death metal técnico que se propuxo facer unha mezcla totalmente impensable... máis aló de mezclar Metal con teclados 4bit ó estilo de Machinae Supremacy ou eso que está tan de moda últimamente do Nintendocore, ou de facer versións en plan metal de bandas sonoras da NES, o rapaz intentou facer Death Metal con sonido Nintendo!!
O resultado de Norrin Radd é algo que chama a atención porque por veces podemos pensar mentres o oímos que poderíamos estar xogando perfectamente a calquera daqueles xogos da Game Boy, e por outras veces o ollo vaisenos ó peaso de riff potente que sería ese piribipiupiu cunha guitarra de verdade. Moi interesante, e moi friki :D

Nesmetal é outro exemplo que xunta o death progresivo co sonido NES.
Un día teño que poñerme eu a facer algo con este sonido, que tamén os teño no programa tracker que utilizo :P Non sei se chegaría a facer algo semellante ó que fan eles, porque a pesar de ter un sonido que moitos opinarán como "cutre", non deixan de ter ideas musicales moi interesantes.

Diario dun vi-king VII - A Subconsciente Rebelión

Bueno, como estiven pensando que vai pasar unha boa temporada ata que volva actualizar esta sección, e realmente teño coma un 25% da nova demo-CD feito sólo, cambiei de opinión e vou deixar a nova canción dispoñible para baixar.
A primeira persona que a oeu dixo que lle gustara e que era algo así coma unha nova búsqueda de horizontes musicales. Eu.. non o creo. Pa mín é outra máis, mellor cas anteriores (son un renegado XDD), pero non moito máis. De feito suelo ter moi boa opinión nas primeiras veces que oio as cancións despois de telas rematadas e pouco a pouco voume desinflando pensando que non é para nada bon material. Vós diredes:
